Individual Music Therapy

Enriching Rhythms offers 1 on 1 Music Therapy sessions on a weekly basis in a client’s home, care facility, school or residence. After an initial assessment, therapeutic goals and objectives are developed and agreed upon between the Music Therapist and the child’s parent or caregiver. Sessions are typically one hour long and include 45 minutes of treatment time with 15 minutes for documentation and communication between therapist and caregiver. Quarterly evaluations are provided to ensure objectives remain appropriate when goals are met or needs change in order to continue to help the child reach their full potential.

Group/Community Music Therapy

Group Music Therapy sessions are available for schools, support groups and care facilities. Groups offer participants the experience to colaborate with peers in a safe social environment. Goals addressed may include communication and socialization needs and can give the clients an outlet for showcasing their skills.

Rising Rhythms Music Classes

Research has shown that music is a safe and effective way to sooth a baby or toddler, stimulate them during play time, and can be a special bonding tool. At Enriching Rhythms our music therapists design music classes for infants from two months through five years old accompanied by their parent, grandparent or caregiver. These classes provide developmentally appropriate musical experiences where all can participate, learn and grow.

Birthday Parties/Special Events

Music is a great way to bring people of all ages and abilities together during times of celebration. Let us help you enhance the fun by bringing instruments and activities where everyone can join and no one is left out. This is not a therapy session or a performance but rather an interactive, inclusive experience.
